Lana Del Rey: The Southern Marriage Saga

    Firstly, let's clear up the pronunciation of WHERE they got married. As a New Orleans native, I have had many giggles today listening to people try to pronounce the Allemands in Des Allemands, the one that stood out the most was Mrs. Jacky Oshry on The Toast Podcast. Like many southern Louisiana cities, it is French so it is to be expected. Let's break it down "Alle" like Big Al, mens, Des Al-mens. Now that we have that cleared up, let's go through the timeline of Ms. Lana --- I mean Mrs.* Lana's relationship with our lucky Swamp Man!

    According to "People," Lana Del Ray first met our local alligator tour guide, Jeremey Dufrene, in 2019. He must have really left an impression on Taylor Swift's BFF because since then she has dated Sean Larkin (2019), Clayton Johnson (2020), and Jack Donoghue (2022). Rumors started swirling in May of 2024 when Lana referred to Jeremy as "my guy" in an Instagram caption, but people were still skeptical. 

Although, now knowing what we know, we only have more questions! Were they dating long before this Instagram post? When did they rekindle their love at first site? Who was her maid of honor? Will she attend any Saints game with her new "beaux?" I guess only time will tell.
